You Me At Six releases a purposeful song in their new single "Adrenaline"

You Me At Six start off 2021 with a real statement, their brand new single, "Adrenaline," grips you tight and doesn't let go. Out on January 1st, serving as the eighth single from their upcoming LP record "SUCKAPUNCH," the track marks a point of triumph for a band very much in charge of their progression but not yet done wrestling with some of humanity's uglier aspects.

"Adrenaline" is a purposeful ramp-up from the best of their prior releases, "MAKEMEFEELALIVE," "Beautiful Way," and the title track "Suckapunch." It embodies an urgency that parallels the emotional intensity of its meaning. Penned by the band along with Corey Sanders and Jon Maguire, the track confronts head-on the notion that we all bear several faces, those fraught inner contradictions that serve both to define and unsteady us.

"Adrenaline" tackles the idea of split personalities, not in a literal sense but rather as a metaphor for the emotional faces we wear every day. This is about being aware of those competing forces, strengths and weaknesses, independence and codependency, but without losing sight of both sides. "Adrenaline" is an unapologetic and reflective submission, a celebration of what it means to be human, reckless, disorganized, and layered with emotion.
