Now United unites cultures through hope on latest release “Lean On Me”

Now United
continues its quest to unite the world through music with the vibrant release “Lean On Me,” a celebration of the group’s international identity. The single, released on January 15, 2021, was recorded and filmed in Dubai, UAE, highlighting the city's striking locations and reiterating the group's message of unity across cultures, with an official music video to accompany it. Written by Meron Ryan, Keith Hetrick, Francesca Richard, and Emile Ghantous, the single is testimony to the spirit of collaboration that has defined Now United since its inception, bringing together voices and perspectives from around the globe.

The video, directed by Aiham AlSubaihi and filmed at The Palm and The Paramount Hotel, visually complements the song with captivating settings that reflect the group’s global appeal. Now United has 16 members from 16 different countries, and they still celebrate diversity by making music that crosses borders and unites people with similar experiences. Another important milestone was their stay in the Emirates, with the addition of a new member from the Middle East, reinforcing the group’s commitment to global representation and cultural inclusion.

The group’s newest member, Ardakani, adds another meaningful chapter to the story behind “Lean On Me.” The newest member is proud to take on the responsibility of representing Lebanon and the wider MENA region and embodies the values that have always been at the heart of Now United’s DNA – opportunity, inclusion, and empowerment. “Lean On Me” works both as a sleek pop product and as a celebration of cross-cultural collaboration. Now United proves once again that their biggest strength is the diversity that unites them with uplifting music and a message of togetherness, making this release both inspiring and universally relatable.
