Adult Leisure turns relationship regret into a sharp-witted release with "See Her"

Adult Leisure, the Bristol-based alt-rock band, adds a sarcastic edge to relationship fallout on "See Her" and explores the surprising relief of feeling better after a relationship ends. The band moves to the moment when disappointment turns into clarity, and the end of a relationship starts to feel like a good thing. The line-up is made up of four members, Neil Scott on vocals, David Woolford on guitar, Luke Denham on bass, and Nathan Searle on drums.

The band offers a concept rooted in the reality of relationships, where knowing something is over can bring a surprising sense of freedom. "See Her" focuses on the aftermath of a breakup, written by David Woolford, John Waugh, Luke Denham, Nathan Searle, and Neil Scott, and produced by Ollie Searle. This perspective is defined by a sarcastic recognition that moving on can show how much happier one is without the relationship that once took so much of their attention.

As Adult Leisure prepares to release their forthcoming debut album, "The Things You Don't Know," it marks a significant moment in the band's developing catalog. "See Her" is about the sharp realization that things can get better once a difficult relationship is finally over. That shift in perspective is the release's appeal, turning romantic frustration into something with a bit more attitude.
