Blush explores the beautifully complicated side of love with Dream-Pop release "X My Heart"

Singaporean dream-pop band Blush has turned the lens on the complexity of love and obsession with "X My Heart." The release explores feelings people often struggle to admit out loud. The band, Soffi Peters on vocals, Daniel Pei on bass, and Darell Laser on guitar, offers a contemplative take on the struggle between emotional openness and the need to appear together.

Soffi Klodii Peters wrote "X My Heart," and Jared Lim produced it and co-wrote the track. The song explores how people judge their own emotions. We often think of love as something simple and beautiful, but real feelings don't always fit neatly into a comfortable box. "X My Heart" by Blush explores the idea that complicated emotions don't make love any less real. The release invites listeners to look beyond the surface and consider the value of accepting yourself truthfully, even when your emotions are messy, overwhelming, or hard to explain.

That tension is what makes "X My Heart" so appealing. In the release, love is not a neatly finished experience, but rather an experience of imperfect feelings that can be felt through love. The message is that it's important to be sincere, even when feelings are hard to explain or understand.
