Ash made a hit with "Which One Do You Want?" and "Fun People"

Northern Irish rock band Ash are taking a new creative direction with their double A-side single, "Which One Do You Want?" and "Fun People." Tim Wheeler vocals/guitar, Mark Hamilton bass, and Rick McMurray (drums) find a band willing to push against its established sound while keeping its signature guitar-driven energy alive on this two-track release.

Wheeler wrote and produced both songs, bridging two different sides of Ash's musical identity. But this isn't a mere rehash of what's come before. "Which One Do You Want?" is a big step along that road. At the heart of the song is a sense of evolution, making it an interesting addition to the band's catalog, while still keeping what makes Ash distinctive. Meanwhile, "Fun People" takes a more offbeat route, built on an adventurous riff that becomes an energetic pop-rock offering.

The song is about those annoying personalities we all come across daily, and it turns that experience into an energetic musical statement. It's an exciting reminder that Ash still takes risks, challenges expectations, and finds new ways to make their music resonate.
