Hillsboro unveils their latest single titled "sleep dealrrr"

Victoria indie-rockers Hillsboro are diving into the haze with "sleep dealrrr," a fuzzy, charged track that shows off the band's ability to blend familiar textures with a unique personal flair. Hillsboro drops this track as a preview of their upcoming EP "White Trash." Written by Colt Hoey, Dexter Hodgins, Nima Walker, Oliver Hollingshead, and Tucker Hoey, "sleep dealrrr" draws on the atmosphere of early '90s shoegaze while giving its influences plenty of room to breathe.

The rhythm section anchors the track, providing a steady pulse beneath the song's elements. The violin adds a haunting quality that separates it from a straightforward indie-rock approach. Frontman Nima Walker's plaintive vocals provide the emotional center, a compelling counterpoint to the track's hazier instrumental backdrop. That push and pull gives "sleep dealrrr" its personality. 

The sound has an undeniable quality. The band uses early '90s shoegaze influences as a springboard for something modern and singular. Walker and Hollingshead produced the track, and it displays a harmonious vision in the songwriting and production.
